Terms and Conditions

Standard Terms and Conditions for Colorbox Limited. Colorbox Ltd and representatives of Colorbox Limited will hereby, for the sake of this document, be referred to as Colorbox. These terms (and the provision of products and services by Colorbox) are governed by and to be interpreted in accordance with English law.


Caribbean Wedding Services

All prices are quoted in US Dollars (US$) and are subject to change without notice at the discretion of Colorbox Ltd.

A minimum of three working days after your wedding day are required for editing, selection and printing of the still photos and Photo Art Book, and editing of a wedding DVD. Should work need to be completed in less time, an expediency fee of US$150 will be charged. Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays are not working days.

If the Client is scheduled to leave the island location of their wedding fewer than three working days after their wedding day and the expediency fee is not paid, postage to Northern America/Europe is US$150 - this covers packaging, postage cost and insurance but excludes any additional charges, duties or taxes imposed in the country or place of delivery. Please enquire for the postage rate to any other locations worldwide. Client selection of the album images is conducted via an online gallery. Postage may occur up to two weeks after the album images are selected by the Client. Postal delivery times are subject to the postal handling service and customs clearance. Colorbox cannot be held responsible for any delays outside their control.


UK Wedding Services

All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP£) and are subject to change without notice at the discretion of Colorbox Ltd.

Photography and videography work conducted by Colorbox will be available for viewing within 14 days of the Client's wedding. Following Client's selection of images, products ordered by the Client can take up to 8 weeks for production and delivery.


The following apply to all services supplied by Colorbox

1. Service.

Colorbox agrees that every effort will be made to provide high quality photographic services and that Colorbox will at all times behave in a manner that is applicable to the occasion.

2. License and Coverage.

a) Colorbox shall be granted artistic license in relation to the poses photographed and the locations used, and Colorbox's judgment shall be deemed correct.

b) The photography schedule and selected methodology are designed to accomplish the goals and wishes of the Client in a manner enjoyed by all parties involved. Colorbox is not to be held responsible for non-availability of subjects or adverse conditions that may delay the progress of proceedings, preventing the coverage of certain specified shots.

c) Colorbox should be made aware of any cultural or faith aspects of an event that will enable production of the best pictures for the day.

d) Colorbox is limited by the requirements or guidelines of any official or site management. The Client agrees to accept the technical and artistic restraints their imposition may have on the work of the Colorbox. Negotiation with the officials for moderation of guidelines is the Client’s responsibility; Colorbox will offer technical recommendations only.

3. Image Reproduction.

a) All images are checked in post production for colour, exposure and cropping. Special requests for retouching will be considered but may be subject to charge, please ask your photographer or contact us in advance on info@colorbox.co.uk for more details.

b) Due to the wide range of clothing colours available today, it is sometimes impossible to record on camera the exact colour of materials as perceived by the human eye. When processing images, Colorbox will endeavour to achieve a pleasing overall colour balance based on natural flesh tones.

c) It is understood that some colours may not remain consistent throughout a set of photographs owing to variations in lighting conditions. It is also understood that all photographic printing is undertaken within the technical limitations of the process and that colour may not be identical over the whole range within a subject. The colour balance of prints made at different times or in varying sizes may also be variable.

d) Images are edited on a colour calibrated computer monitor and printed using professional photographic labs. When viewed on alternative monitors it is understood that images may appear differently and that prints will not match images rendered on any particular computer monitor.

e) Where images/video are made available for use on a DVD/HD player every reasonable step is taken to ensure compatibility, but cannot be guaranteed.

4. Conduct.

Colorbox will not tolerate verbally or physically abusive behaviour, nor will the Colorbox photographer have to share their time or compete with guest photographers for the attention of the subjects. Unchecked guest conduct that interferes with photography may seriously affect the quality of the photographs taken. If the Client is unable to control the conduct of their guests, resulting in an unacceptable degree of misconduct, or if the conduct of any of their guests damages the equipment of the Colorbox photographer, it will result in the early or immediate departure of the Colorbox staff member. The Client understands that in such an event, no refunds will be granted. However the Client agrees that Colorbox is not responsible for any damages (financial, emotional or otherwise) that they might suffer, no matter however caused.

5. Copyright and Model Release.

All photographs (digital negatives or prints) produced by Colorbox are protected by The Copyright Act 1988 (all rights reserved) and may not be reproduced in any manner (photographic, computer, internet or otherwise) without prior explicit permission from Colorbox.The Client hereby assigns and grants Colorbox and its legal representatives the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs of the Client or in which the Client may be included, for editorial, trade, advertising or any other purpose and in any manner and medium; to alter the same without restriction; and to copyright the same providing that the images are used lawfully and without damage to the clients.

6. Upload & reproduction of Client images for which Colorbox does not hold copyright

a) You may not upload or email images to Colorbox for which: you do not have permission to reproduce; are pornographic, obscene, indecent or offensive; incites hatred or violence; promotes discrimination relating to sex, religion, race, age, sexual orientation, disability or nationality; is blasphemous; involves or relates to a criminal act; any infringement of copyight, trademark or intellectual property of any third party; material which breaches any applicable laws or legislation.

b) You indemnify Colorbox officers and employees against any action, claim, liability, damages, costs and expenses which may arise due to any image uploaded/emailed by you to Colorbox for reproduction is in infringement of any third party's copyright, trademark or intellectual property.

c) Colorbox, at their discretion, may contact a law enforcement organisation if any of the above restrictions on uploaded content are breached. Copies of offending material will be passed to the law enforcement organisation, along with any personal data held by Colorbox.


Payment and Refund Policy

1. Bookings and Payment Requirements.

a) Any alterations to the booking, once details have been confirmed by the Client, may only be made at the discretion of Colorbox. If unable to accommodate alternative arrangements (e.g. change of ceremony date or venue), Colorbox is not liable to compensate the Client in any way.

b) Payment for all services must be paid in full before the event date.

2. Cancellation and Refunds.

a) In the event of cancellation by Colorbox, Colorbox's liability shall be limited to a full refund of any deposits and fees already paid.

b) Colorbox will endeavour to contact other photographers in the unlikely event that a booking cannot be attended. However it may prove difficult or impossible to find a suitable replacement photographer at short notice or at the same price.

c) If the Client should have to cancel a booking the following terms apply and any fees due for services and products already rendered will become payable immediately:

i. The Client is entitled to a refund of all monies paid in advance minus any deposit(s) for services and products that have not already been rendered. Once the event has occurred refunds may be given at the discretion of the management.

ii. In the event of postponement, all monies paid may be applied to the new event date.

iii. It is essential to inform Colorbox as soon as possible of any changes of venue, times, or contact details etc.

iv. Orders placed on the Colorbox website must be cancelled within 1 hour of the order being placed. Contact Colorbox at info@colorbox.co.uk.

v. Products ordered and received from the Colorbox website cannot be refunded unless there is a fault with the item.

3.Unforeseen Events.

Whilst every care is taken, this contract is subject to alteration or cancellation by Colorbox in case of events beyond reasonable control, i.e Act of God, War, Fire, Flooding, Accidents on Roads or Railways etc. In the unlikely event that total mechanical/electrical failure should occur to camera equipment or personal transport and Colorbox is unable to provide the Client with the agreed photography services and/or products, Colorbox’s liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid. Re-shoots may be arranged if practicable but Colorbox will not be responsible for any further costs.


Questions and Complaints

1. If you have a question or complaint about any content on this website please contact Colorbox at info@colorbox.co.uk.

2. If you have a complaint, Colorbox must receive written notification within 28 days of receipt of the product(s) and/or service(s). In the case of non-delivery, notification must be made within a reasonable time after the item was expected to be delivered. All complaints must be sent to info@colorbox.co.uk.


Privacy Policy

1. Colorbox will not sell your contact information to any other companies or individuals.

2. Colorbox uses selected companies to fulfil print and product orders. Your delivery information and email address will be shared solely with them as required at the time of order. Partner companies will not use your details for marketing purposes.

2. All contact information gathered will be used solely for the purposes of promotion and marketing of services, products and offers Colorbox deems suitable.

3. Payment

a) Information entered to the Colorbox website is securely handled by RBSWorldPay or PayPal. Colorbox has no access to payment card information.

b) Colorbox utilises third party websites for some services (e.g. customer online galleries). The Client accepts that these websites will have access to information (financial and/or personal) submitted to place an order. Such information may then be passed to another supplier for order fulfilment. Colorbox accepts no liability for information breaches from these third party websites/suppliers.

4. Partner sites and links to other sites from the Colorbox website will have their own privacy policy. Please check their policy before submitting any personal data on these sites.

Colorbox reserves the right to revise the terms and conditions, services, offers and prices at any time and without prior notification.
